  Entry - Zaguán
A zaguán is the entryway into a house. This passageway leading from the entrance door to the central patio in a house is commonly found in the southwestern United States and Mexico. The main entry hall is 24’ 6” by 5’ and starts from the covered front porch that runs the full length of the house exterior and the entryway hallway ends at the courtyard. The entry or Zaguan in Spanish is bordered by two adobe walls a Saltillo tile floor and the unique 10’ ceiling of vigas, and latillas.
